Anyone who REALLY knows me already knows who I would LOVE to meet... Prince. Not just because I think he's completely gorgeous, but because he is so completely blessed and overflowing with talent. I would really love to have the opportunity to pick the brain of someone that I consider so creatively brilliant!
He has a really cool website at: http://www.npgmusicclub.com/
Check out videos at the Cyberclips section (My favorite is The Greatest Romance... "Can you tell me the real reason that Adam never left Eve?"
Take the quiz: "What beautiful scene are you?"

You are a true angel. Very popular, beautiful without knowing it and envyed by many. You are sweet, funny and give great parties!
I'm mostly into Gospel music. My fave singers/groups right now are Yolanda Adams (she has such a beautiful and annointed voice), Fred Hammond (I love the way he puts a praise together) and Selah (I love their harmony and the fact that they always have one or two songs in Congolese)
And, obviously, I love Prince! hahahahaha...
I used to have about 10 favorite movies, but I have managed to cut it down to two... for now. I am completely in LOVE with the movie "The Notebook" It is SO beautiful. Beautifully shot, beautiful story. That is a true love story. It doesn't depict everything as perfect. The focus of their relationship has NOTHING to do with sex. And the main characters argue and constantly drive eachother nuts! But they love eachother through everything and fight for eachother. My favorite line... The girl is playing in the surf and going on about wanting to be a bird, and she asks her man, "What are you?" He looks at her with true love in his eyes and says... "If you're a bird, I'm a bird." Or in other words, where ever you are is where I want to be. Ok... maybe I'm a total mush, or maybe you just had to be there. But it's beautiful. My other favorite movie is an Indian film called Khuda Gawah (God is My Witness). It's music, dancing, love, tragedy, comedy and action (not Matrix, but still). Badshah Kahn (the main character) is my hero. He has such conviction! If he gives his word on something, he won't let anything (not love nor death) stand in the way of him fulfilling his promise. That's a real man!

The first time I was introduced to the book, "The Little Soul and The Sun" was at massage school. This beautiful, little old lady came to the school and sat in the big, comfy chair while all of us students lay sprawled, as was our usual format, in puppy piles on the floor. I believe I was cuddling with Billy that day and playing with his hair. This book, which is a children's parable with beautiful illustrations, touched my heart so deeply; I was moved to tears. I had to go buy the book for myself, have loaned it to friends and have given it as a gift. I still get goose bumps and teary eyed when I tell people the basis of the book.Another of my favorites is a book that I read maybe about 7 years ago called The Bondmaid by Margaret Lim. It was such a beautiful story about a girl in China (I think starting in the 1950's) whose mother sold her into bondage at the age of 4 because the mother couldn't afford to take proper care of the girl. The girl and the young master of the house are the same age and immediately form a bond. It follows them through their lives and shows how social status and class structure at that time shaped them and eventually tore them apart and kept them from a love that they shared for most of their lives. It shows a lot of cultural history. Beware... I stayed up two nights in a row until sunrise to finish this book and bawled my eyes out (I'm seeing a trend here). Now, if you don't know me, let me just tell you... I very rarely cry (although you couldn't tell by reading this), especially over something that's not real! And I was still upset when it was over. I wanted more!!!! I should really look for more books by this woman! Hey... if you happen to read or have read this book, blog me and let me know what you thought. My best friend read it while she was visiting me from out of state, and she yelled at me for letting her read it. She loved it, but it's a pretty emotional story!
My mom and dad are my heroes. I'm very proud of them for all that they have faced and overcome in their lives. They are not in any way perfect and have not always made the best decisions, but I love them for who they are. I thank God everyday for them. I would not possibly be the person that I am if I had different parents. I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. I thank them for all that they have taught me and all that they have shown me. I love them in their stubbornness and even when they are being a serious pain in my rear! I love them for all the love that they give me and for kicking my butt when I'm wrong or when I'm slacking. I love them for all that they do for me and for all that they don't! I love you crazy kids!!!!
