Jyrki Tomminen

I present myself here just as me, a kind of a lonely rider, though, I could not have survived this rude world without an ample amount of excellent people I have been lucky enough to get to know over the decades. My personal history includes several years of passionate singing and playing with various groups and talented beloved friends. The ones that I once in a while perform with these days in different line-ups and who at the same time also are leaders of their own bands are Seppo Valjakka, T. Leino, Kurre Tulikallio and Zape Leppänen. Other musicians involved in some of these projects just to mention a few are Jari Vepsäläinen, Jyty Syrjäläinen, Markus Nylund, Timo Pratskin and Jonne Kulluvaara. I love singing and playing my harmonica. Play guitar also when ever possible.I live in the beautiful countryside of the small Finnish town Taipalsaari. I love the nature, wilderness, hiking far away from the civilisation, good and nice people. I enjoy being in a place where the only sounds around me are produced by nature without a human interference. Not all the time, of course, but frequently enough to reload my batteries.
