About Me

*ob-scur-ia from the Latin obscurus
OBSCURIA is a diverse group of veteran musicians who blend their influences from many Classic Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal masters to craft an original brand of melodic rock/metal that dares a definition. The members of Obscuria hail from the United States' Midwest (Madison, Wisconsin), and are bonded by their cohesive songwriting and composing skills and professional musicianship.
With influences as varied as the Beatles, Slayer, Pink Floyd, Candlemass, Rush, Black Sabbath, Manowar, Johnny Winter, and Alice In Chains, this group performs a signature blend of original compositions and select covers with an emphasis on execution, passion, and (something that's rarely found in todays live music) dynamics. Hence the band's name, Obscuria.
Together they are committed to generating a uniform voice from a diversity of ideas. Each composition is truly a group effort produced from individual creativity and genuine respect.

All life is the object of his wishes.

So then continues The Rise."
