About Me

Dancing to soulful grooves, dressing up, screaming in concerts, discussing politics and art, looking bored, looking thrilled...
I play the guitar in two bands. The Hipstairs play soulful, jazzy hammond beat. A mix of wild shakes, funky grooves, and soothing bossa-novas. By the by, the tune playing in my profile is an original of ours. We call it Blue Groove. Fancy some bossa nova, baby?
The Teardrops play 60s garage/ freakbeat, featuring a wailing farfissa, ear-piercing fuzz guitars, and screamin' an' swingin' vocals.
Outro and the Weird Love Makers crew present the Hipstairs at Yoga Bala (Athens, GR) , Saturday, June 7th. Get hip to some groovalicious dj-spinning and band-playing, baby!
The latest (seventh- 7th) issue of the Belle Vue zine is finally here. Featuring some great articles, it also includes the first official release of the Hipstairs . A 7" 45rpm vinyl record, with 3 original instrumentals: Boogacha Boogaloo, Keyclicks, and Blue Groove. Keep the faith!
