Cream of the Crops

Welcome to the official "Cream of the Crops Heavy Metal Festival" Home Page. We Decided it was time to put the Quad Cities Heavy Metal Scene back on the map...or should I say off the Grid?!! When I was first confronted by Ron , owner of LumPy's and The Otherside in Davenport about having a "bigger" festival for the summer,....something we could do annually, I never thought it would become as BIG as this, but you know me...Always Bigger...Always Better. Of course the only way you can truely represent the best Metal Bands from across the Midwest is by having the Biggest and Best sound company in town do it at he most supportive Metal venues in town. Thats when I called my good friend and owner of Rexroat sound of Moline IL.,Scott Rexroat. After first consulting with Scott he threw some ruff quotes on what it might cost and take to pull the fest off, but after further conversation he agreed to partner up with Ron and I to give it the A-1 treatment it deserved. "What we need to do is have both stages have topnotch sound, with two seperate sound engineers to run each show....and of course bring the cannons!" That was all I needed to hear..and that is what we are going to do. Thats right, 2 STAGES-15 Bands swapping stages all day long between LuMpY'S and the Otherside, with an outdoor beer garden fenced in the parking lot of the Otherside. This Festival will have it doors open at noon and the first band will set the show off on the Mainstage in LuMpY's at 2pm. After a 10 minute break between bands( to give festival goers a chance to move to the 2nd stage) the next band will take 2nd Stage and so on ALL day. This is guarenteed to be a Memorial Day weekend to remember. COmE JoIn The SHoW for just 13$ in advance and 15$ at the door.
