The Poetry in Remaining Motionless.
This is the title to Left of Center's first album, due very soon. "It's about taking the time to slow down and see things for what they really are. The faster we go , the more blurred the faces of the people we know become. Take a moment to realize that nothing is what it seems, and we are not what was meant to be." -Snubbs (And that's about as serious as you'll ever see him.)So, this album is what we've got for you, from the direction we were on for the past 2 or so years. It's a little outta the norm for the Quad Cities, and we hope you like it immensly. Left of Center will always provide you with something original. That is what we like, and that is what we write. That's about as blunt as I could be about it. Stick with us....we'll have more, and more. We are not our jobs, we are our music. See you at a show!

Thompson We believe that metal, and music in general, should be about creativity, applied music theory, style and creating music, not reusing it. Loyalty towards a band is a lost art, and we'll maintain our line-up until we no longer exist.
We are available for just about any show within reason, and are honored to have shared the stage with national acts Drowning Pool, Dry Kill Logic, 10 years, Bobaflex, Destrophy, Opiate for the Masses, as well as our fellow local/regional bands.
Our songwriting system (a family secret) basically involves developing new song structures, mangling them to our tastes, and even tearing into ideas and motives of the past. None of our music exists in its original state...until now. We should be playing (on stage and on windy precipices with knives) in a town near you soon. Listen to the music, come to shows, buy some T-shirts, get on our mailing list, pick up the Album and make sure you say what's up if you see us.
