About Me

I walked out onto the hills in the far off land of Tir Na Nog, I rambled through fields of straw and ate a picnic and watched the stars above. The trees crowded the view of the Goddess Fortuna, she called to me and off I went to the land of Aes Sidhe. Through flowers and fauna I danced along the road to Glochamorra. With one almighty stare I gathered my dreams of Eire, wandered on to Banbridge Town drank from the river then on to the County Down. My mother the Gypsy Queen asked me where I'd been, so I whistled in tune said I'd see her soon I'm off to Dublin with the Jackeens. Ah said she with the mist of a crystal ball, don't come to the end and fall, you have the red of the gypsy blood, crimson trails then led me to the eastern rails, so I took a train to Belarus, called to the spirit of Zeus, he led me the way through the pleasures of night and day, I drank some wine realised I was fine and off to White Russia to find the spirit of her mother. They had chased the spirits to the mountains, pure white skin of gypsy kin, where Diana had blessed the porcelane fountain. My father the Manannan Mac Lir asked me where I'd been, I whistled in tune said I'd see him soon I'm off with Rasputin to do some lootin. Ah said he remember your the salt of the earth, a folly like that with time youll have to serve. So off to follow the northern Star I went, magic from the spirits I lent. I followed the Spirit St Aiden to Lindisfarne, watched as the night drew in I noticed the sea was calm, so I sat down away from harm. Prayed to St Bede that the ghosts were freed, layed down on the white sand then floated away to Holy Island.}

My Interests

I started painting when I was about 8. I sarted taking it seriously a few years back when I exhibited my first piece, a sculpture in London and NYC. I mostly work with mirrors crystals and light, making prisms of coloured reflected images. I will up load my sculpture pictures in due course, they're a bit hard to photograph as they can almost fill a room. In my paintings I use a plethora of materials, this could range from bits of aluminium, glass, mirrors, canvas, oil paint, water paint, acrylic etc. Alot of my work is inspired by some of my writing, ive had stuff on BBC Radio 4, a bit of my poetry. I also write alot of short stories and my paintings also are inspired by these. However most of all my intrest in history, espeically that of Ireland, Russia, and the North, is my main inspiration. My Dads family are Irish and my Mams family are Russian Gypsys and I grew up in the North, so hence forth this is where my heart lays. Lindisfarne, The County Down, which was the inspiration behind C S Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia, Dublin Town, The Banbridge Town, The North York Moors, Pendle Hill, Minsk, The Spirit of the Romany, and so on.
