The Seventy Six

Trillionaire Boys Club

About Me

Philadelphia; The City of Brotherly Love. It’s the home of the Liberty Bell, Philly Cheesesteaks, Will Smith, and The Roots, and has brought together the five young men who refer to themselves as The Seventy Six. The band has an incredible array of influences from all over the musical spectrum, new and old.
The band incorporates throwback musical arrangements and tones from the 70’s with modern rhythms and hooks to create the sound of The Seventy Six. The musical experience of all the members has played an important role in shaping the sound of the band. Vincent John has been writing and performing music for the better portion of his life, listening and absorbing just about any music he can get his hands on. With his vintage piano sounds, and heartfelt vocals, he brings forth soulful inspiration to The Seventy Six. Matt Watts and Tom Gryskewicz have toured relentlessly as members of The Starting Line since 1999, and incorporate their knowledge of pop appeal into the group. Greg Altman is known for his attention to detail, and his knack for incredible tone. He has been performing for years, and also works as a recording producer. Paul Kushner performed in a touring pop-rock band, and brings comedic relief to the band with his offbeat humor, and (in basketball terms) is referred to as the 6th man.
Though it may seem unlikely for a group of gentlemen with such a background in rock music to venture into the world of Pop and R&B, they have never been more excited about the music they are making.
