About Me

.. Tony Wynn is a Central Florida Jazz Saxophonist by way of Buffalo, New York. He has released two CD's, his first project "A quiet Time" was released in 2005 and his latest "A Matter of Fact" debuted March 2007.
With the exception of several tracks of which he features close friends on Guitar, Bass and Trumpet, all instrumentation on both CD's were performed, composed and recorded by Tony.
Tony is a self taught musician who plays the Flute, Alto, Tenor and Soprano Saxophones, Piano, Synthesizer, Electronic Wind Instrument, Latin percussion, Congas, Bongos and Bass & Drum Programming.
Tony's style includes Classic, Bebop, Smooth, Latin, and Acid Jazz. His mainstay has been Smooth Jazz. Jazz Standards are his favorite and he manages to slip a "Stolen Moments"or " Footprints" into his shows.
This well seasoned Sax Man has recently shared the spot light with "Isaac Hayes" as well as opened for Vocalists "KEM and Micheal Buble".
Whether as a solo act or a duet with trumpeter side man "Cameron Brown" or a five piece, Tony's goal is to serve Jazz in a manner that the listener is not alienated by it's sometimes overwhelming technical or improvisational nature.
Tony's "Cuban" heritage is evident in some of his compositions which have a distinct Latin flavor. Tony especially utilizes this Latin style on his latest vocal arrangements; "I Haven't Told You and Those Eyes". His smooth vocal work coupled with his sensual flute playing is a perfect union. Take a listen.....
