1) People who share my escapist attitude, which mostly revolves around the Fantasy genre (medieval, or more recently 1820).
2) An Irish red-head.
It ranges from musicals such as Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat, mostly sung along to in my car (one outstanding insurance claim due to this), through various bands like Bangles, Undertones, Cranberries, Primitives, Transvision Vamp.
I must draw a line, however, at any form of opera, and so-called "modern" jazz; the latter of which just sounds like a load of noise to me.
I would heartily recommend both Mamma Mia and We Will Rock You (and especially AvenueQ), both showing in the West End; each has excellent music from the band they are tributing, although neither has a particularly deep plot.

Most of my time is spent on the computer, so the only reading I do is before going to sleep and so one book lasts a good long time.
Almost a book, if you like Dungeons and Dragons then you'll love The Order of the Stick !
I think it is a brilliant Sci-Fi TV series!
