Mothergroove is a project born at first of 2007 in Barcelona during the recording of some Gianni Sciannamè's tracks for the english label Thirteen Records. One of the main purpose of this recording was to find high qualificated musicians with a pasion, in the same time, for the black music and with a necessity to create a "family", with the idea that the groove has to simbolize the musical mother and the main source of inspiration. The standard formation of the band enclose a minimum of 4 artist and a maximum of 7.Since now we have worked with some labels like Sambafrique Rec.Barcelona(we have a single edited in a compilation),Soul Unsigned and Solar Radio London (we have an EP edited in a compilation)Gianni "Papa Groove" Sciannamè - vocals, bass, guitar, synth, songwriter (Italy) Abel "Velvet Finger" Boquera - keyboards, synth,background vocals (Spain).
