I was born in St. Louis in 1969 (actually, I can't believe I am 38 years old; in my mind I am perpetually 26 but my boyfriend will tell you that I act like I am 12). A few years later we moved to San Antonio then to Chicago, then to Gaithersburg, Maryland, then to Dallas. After all that moving around I wanted to stay in one place for high school. I will never forget my mother saying "One day you will thank me for being able to experience all these different places". She is right and as a consequence of moving around all the time I have a restless spirit and I love to travel - Amsterdam , London , Wimbledon , Trooping the Colour , Brussels , Rome and The Vatican , Paris , Barcelona , Cologne , Edinburgh , Florence , Venice , Rotterdam , Basel , Texas , Missoula , Montana . Sometimes I even make it back home to Kirkwood and St. Louis .
If anyone knows how to get good travel deals please let me know.

Green House Coffeeshops , we saw Lil' Jon at The Green House over 4th of July week in 2006. This place is funky, fun and in a great location to just hang out on the street and people watch.
Wimbledon , I was lucky enough to live in London in the summer of 1992 and was even luckier to be able to attend The Championships at Wimbledon, twice. I was even luckier still to see some of my favorites; Boris Becker (he is one of the reasons I like red heads), Steffi Graf, John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova, Pam Shriver, Monica Seles and the 1992 men's champion Andre Aggasi.

With few exceptions I usually listen to music made from the late 60's to the early 90's. I would have trouble identifying almost any song recorded in the last 10 years. Don McLean's American Pie would be #1 - Any remake is a sacrilege! Hair is the best soundtrack ever (not the movie, it pretty much sucked). I have the soul of a hippie and should have been in Haight/Ashbury in the Summer of Love. My favorite local Dallas bands are Pistol Whippin Ike, Red Leather (awesome, fun, 80's tribute band), and what ever happened to Hollow?
