Pimp My ProfileRuth was born in Avila (spain) in 1977. And since she was little she always wanted to be a singer. When she was in six grade she enters her first chorus at school (Santa Teresa´s chorus). In seveth grade she chages school and she enters by a casting in “Voces Blancas chorus†which in nationals competition was considered the third best chorus. At the age of thirteen years old she moves to L.A. California with her family and she will be there till she´s sixteen years old. There she enters the John Burroughs Junior High School chorus, where she learns a lot about black music. Back here in Spain she starts composing songs with the guitar, until she forms “dim Sense†in the year 1998. She has been singer of more bands, like “smoothbox†(funky rock), “Sala 3†(band of versions), and actually she still sings in “dim Senseâ€. She has published two songs: “mother´s on the sound†which appears in a movie film called “corazón de bombón†directed by Alvaro Sainz de Heredia and also the song was presented for the Goya awards. And a song called “by the rain†which is a collaboration with an artist called Roty340. She has sung in many jam sessions, and has done choruses for many bands, including “la sal de la vida†and “mal de ojoâ€(now called “69 revoluciones). She has also recorded songs at the studios for presentations to other artists, a radio gig, and usually collaborates doing the choruses of some rap bands. Actually she is composing her own songs to make her own proyect as well. At the same time Ruth works at a bilingual school teaching english, maths, science and spanish to little kids.
