Where the hell is my chiffon?

About Me

Jack Kerouac's definition of a poet: "A poet is a fellow who spends his time thinking about what it is that's wrong, and although he knows he can never quite find out what this wrong is, he goes right on thinking it out and writing it down." I spend a lot of time "thinking it out and writing it down." I guess that makes me a poet. I'm also a twenty-something Christian, vegetarian, Cuban- American, feminist hipster.Lately I've been inspired by the four steps to becoming a Drag Queen as told by Ms. Noxema Jackson (Wesley Snipes) in To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar: 1. Let good thoughts be your sword and shield 2. Ignore adversity 3. Abide by the rules of love 4. Larger than life is just the right size!

As upset as I was about it yesterday, I must admit that when I woke up this morning, everything outside just looked magical. The snow actually made me smile.

Okay, so first of all, it snowed this morning. That's sick! It's a miserable rainy/snowy, cold, grey day. How did already snow? It's only November 15?! This is a bad sign of more cold weather to come!...
