Nelson W. Pyles

Je n’ai rien à dire.

About Me

My name’s Nelson. I write and play music. Sometimes, I do it in public (see my calendar.) I’ve written and recorded an album called "Blood and Cigarettes." I’m also an author. You can read my online novel at myspace.com/stitchnovel .

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: nelsonwpyles.com
Band Members: All songs are played by me except for ’Dime." "If I Had A Dime" was performed by Chris Preston on bass and backing vox, Dan Patak (aka Kavi Daniels) on drums and me on guitar and lead vox. It was part of a duo called (obviously) "Chris Preston/Nelson Pyles." And "Anything" was performed by Jason Corrie, Tony Mosco, Jeff Lees and myself, better known at the time as "Dear Enemy."
Influences: I'm fairly certain that all of my influences are bad. That's just the kind of guy I am. That being said, Elvis Costello, Springsteen, Townshend, Rotten, Ramones, Rundgren, Zombie (Rob and White,) KISS, Utopia, Sam & Dave, STAX soul music, various bands of various genres.Oh, and Horror Movies. That's kind of important.

Sounds Like: Sounds like music. That’s half the battle.
Record Label: Novus Apparatus
Type of Label: Indie
