Catania - The L.E.D. are born in September 2005 from an idea of the bassplayer to form a band for
cover songs and own pieces, following a faithful musical style to kind rock with
the intent to explore new sounds and tendencies. Starting from nothing, the band,
throws slowly the bases and the plants to which aspires creating a own indipendent room-study,
beginning a long work of faithful execution of cover songs and at the same time satisfying the main interests
...making show and creating unknown songs.
The band is formed from 4 elements: "Alessandro Vassallo" to the voice, "Gaetano Caudullo" to the guitar,
"Gianpiero Leone" to the bass and the new one arrived "Rino Marraro" to the drums.
The true friendship, mutual respect, sacrifice and dedication to work have characterized
the life of the band and have marked the step even if destiny has
reserved them hard moments and a darkness and suffering period, caused by an enormous indelible
pain that has seen the tragic departure of brotherly friend and colleague "Emanuele Leone", drummer
of the group. That has given them still more force, union, determination, will in continuing
that dream in order to transmit beautiful emotions, fantastic feelings and sublime atmospheres
rich of moments lived to the emblem of exaltation of own feelings. Currently the band present
approximately 50 cover songs of the most famous rock band in the world following essentially a british/irish
style that reflect the spirit of the group. The production of unknow songs is in strong ferment creating many
piecs born from particular ideas, innate istincts, optimal improvisations, deep thoughts and strong emotions
that the band try to bring back in it’s words and sounds.
Music is harmony, harmony is love, love is something for which we live.
Catania - I L.E.D. nascono nel settembre del 2005 da un’idea del bassista di formare una band per cover e pezzi propri, seguendo uno stile musicale fedele al genere ROCK con l’intento di esplorare nuove sonorità e creare nuove tendenze. Iniziando dal nulla, la band, getta pian piano le basi e i progetti ai quali aspira creando una propria sala-studio indipendente, iniziando un lungo lavoro di fedele esecuzione di brani cover e allo stesso tempo dando inizio all’interesse principale ...fare spettacolo e creare pezzi inediti. La band è formata da quattro elementi: Alessandro Vassallo alla voce, Gaetano Caudullo alla chitarra, Gianpiero Leone al basso e il nuovo arrivato Rino Marraro alla batteria. La vera amicizia, il rispetto reciproco, il sacrificio e la dedizione al lavoro hanno caratterizzato la vita della band e ne hanno segnato il passo anche se il destino ha riservato loro duri momenti e un periodo di totale buio e sofferenza causa di un enorme indelebile dolore che ha visto la tragica scomparsa del fraterno amico collega Emanuele Leone, batterista del gruppo. Ciò ha dato loro ancora più forza, unione, determinazione, volontà nel proseguire quel sogno di un progetto che vuole trasmettere belle emozioni, fantastiche sensazioni e sublimi atmosfere ricche di attimi vissuti all’insegna dell’esaltazione dei propri sentimenti. Attualmente la band presenta circa 50 cover delle band rock piu’ famose al mondo seguendo uno stile prevalentemente britannico/irlandese che si addice allo spirito del gruppo. La produzione di canzoni inedite è alla base di ogni interesse ed è in forte fermento la creazione di tanti brani nati da particolari idee ed innati istinti, ottime improvvisazioni, profondi pensieri e forti emozioni che la band cerca di riportare nelle loro parole e nel loro sound. La musica è armonia, l’armonia è amore, l’amore è qualcosa per cui viviamo.
