"Ahoy, it's a clear journey ahead. The chill of the night courses me bones and shivers me spine. I see a fog light and hear
the sound of thee sloshing booze divine. The Winter wind's a Corvina, blustering in from sea; with a rollicking song, we sweep along,
swaggering boist'rously. Our skin is weather-beaten; we wear a blue striped top, with a handkerchief navy about me rear,
we are three drunks and full of schnapps. We laugh as we storm the debris, a loud laugh and a bold; and the trees all quake and
shiver and shake, as the guitars roar and scold. The Winter wind's a Corvina, pillaging just for fun; we'll snatch your pretty lass
while grasping a beer glass, and laugh to see you run!!! Arrrghhh!"
Originally, from the "Arm Pit of California" called the Imperial Valley, the forgotten world. Most Californians are oblivious to hEll Centro, Calecia, Mexicali, or even the Salton Sea's existance. The Corvinas...Well its a fish that lives in the Salton Sea. One of the world's most desolate, creepy, fucked bodies of water. That damned pescado can survive through anything...Formed around May 2005. Most of us played in the the VEXORS . We don't sound anything like the Vexors.
The Corvinas are stripped down Rock and Roll with a vintage flare. We all basically grew up with each other and share the love of music and creating it.
We are brothers from the garage and will always stay in the garage. You'll see us occasionally in the gutter but that's a different story....
We're bringing back the real spirit that the primitive rock and rollers lived by. No costumes, hair, makeup or other crap. There's no false pretences or agenda here. Just soul with a tone.
Rolling Stone says "Chicanos playing rock n' roll....can't beat that"!
