It’s hard enough being a local musician and trying to get gigs, never mind a chance to tell anything about them. How they started, how they write their songs, etc. Well now is their chance to be heard. I’m Jeff Royds and being a local musician myself I’ve been there and that’s why I put this site together. To get the local musician heard!Every Week I’ll be interviewing a different group or artist and posting them up on Boston garage Bands.com, click on the link above to be directed to the site. You can hear a sample of the here. Listen to it on the site or load it on to your iPod and take it with you. No fees or signing up. It’s free to whoever loves music. Support local music. The term “starving artist†isn’t just a catch phrase. Local bands and musicians bust their ass to to be heard. Playing a dive bar in Slumerville on a Monday night for 4 people or going on first before 4 other bands while the bar staff is still taking down the chairs. That’s what it’s all about. The sacrifice for the love of playing music. ROCK-N-ROLL!!! What’s your story? Be heard!. Who knows maybe your story will inspire someone to pick up a guitar and start playing or even better get you noticed by someone important. To be on the show or give your feed back goto the contact page. In the coming weeks as the word gets out the site will grow and so will your fan base so tell everyone you know. Enjoy the show.
