The Denver MC Showcase is an online registry of local underground hip-hop musicians and enthusiasts. By arranging tournament-style MC battles backed by the beats of live urban musicians, the Showcase is Denver’s best forum for the underground hip-hop scene. The registry is open to MCs, bands, and Hip-Hop enthusiasts. When battle dates are set, sixteen of the MCs from the registry are selected to compete in a tournament-style lyrical battle. The instrumental music for the battles is provided by live bands that have also been selected from the registry. The winners of the competitions receive cash prizes ranging from $400 to $600, depending on the battle. The last four MCs left in the battles are offered a spot in the next battle’s line-up. As a member of the registry you will be notified of all the upcoming battles once their dates are announced.
