Welcome to my MySpace page! Today is your lucky day because, seriously, I rock. But consider yourself warned... I can kick butt carrying my Dean and Deluca soy mocha chai. Woot woot.

I live in the LBC with my dog Sadie Sue. I love live music that rocks too hard for my yuppie arse, pumpkins, wine, food, meeting new friends, and copious amounts of laughter. My current goal is to have as much fun as humanly possible without going broke or getting arrested. :) I'm active politically and adore a good debate - but you better have your facts straight because I know my stuff, suckah.

I'm a wee bit obsessed with the Foo Fighters - as a matter of fact, I'm on a 2008 Foo Stalking tour now... Music, food and wine are my passions - I'd love to hear what you are listening to, eating, drinking...

Here are some random facts about me:

- I am perpetually wishing it were autumn.
- I love red wine. The bigger, the better.
- Keith Olbermann makes my girly parts quiver.
- I wish I were a pumpkin or goat farmer. But I'm too lazy and a huge yuppie. I don't think BMW makes tractors with GPS, do they?
- If you can't make me laugh or think, please leave.
- I was a bitchin' camaro speed skater back in the day. I loved to advance backwards skate to Michael Jackson's "PYT" and Billy Squire's "Stroke Me."
- I'd rather have a martini or glass of champagne in a fancy hotel bar and people watch more than almost anything in the world...
- I play tough gal on t.v. - but I'm really a softy wimp who basically cries all of the time.
- I'm a recovering pessimist.
- I can dance like MC Hammer. Dude, you so can't touch this...
- I love Dave Grohl and you can't make me stop. I will work him into pretty much every conversation, so deal with it... :)

My Interests

Fun and pretty much everything to do with it. Politics (more like an obsession - you should give a damn TOO). Flowers (fresh, not dead - especially peonies and sweet peas). Anything Foo Fighters related (I'm a wee bit obsessed). Live music that rocks too hard for my yuppie arse age. Horses. Really good wine with even better food. Napa/Sonoma. Psychology. Hiking and hippie commie pinko granola activities. History. Farms. Religion. SARK, Keri Smith, and similar books. Really good picnics. People smarter than I am. People with GREAT stories. The truth - in whatever form it may come.

I'd like to meet:

Tom Cruise. No, really. We would have a fabulous time. We would hold hands and skip. Then I will kick him in the crotch and take his wallet.

I have met Dave Grohl a couple of times and let's just say, it's never enough. Ever. He's adorable and kind and a complete gentleman. Even while you hump his leg... he's totally awesome.

If I met G.W. Bush, I would pretend to hug him, then ninja kick him in the groin as hard as I could. It would be all over the news and I'd be carried out on commie lib pinkos shoulders wherever I go.

I would like to meet Jimmy Carter, but frankly, I'd probably feel like an idiot around him. Same with Alan Ball. So let's just avoid that discussion altogether. My self esteem is bruised as it is. Anyone got a self help book I can borrow?

I love Six Feet Under - I miss it terribly. In Treatment, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, Dexter, Sopranos, Lucky Louie, Tim Gunn's Guide to Style, Big Love, Sleeper Cell, Real Time with Bill Maher, Meet the Press, Weeds, Flipping Out, Project Runway, Top Chef. I am a Food Network groupie and I have dreams about Tyler Florence, Michael Chiarello and Bobby Flay having a naked honey and Crisco cook off to win my heart. I watch the news obsessively - but stay away from Fox News because the channel is the spawn of satan.

Books:

Too many to mention. Currently re-reading a ton of Dorothy Parker. I just love her wit.

Heroes:
