I'm kick ass, and I can kick your ass. The "F" word is my favorite, and I use it often. I can be aggressive. I can be chill. I can be sweet. I can be bitchy. I can be charming. I can be shy. I can be outgoing. I can be moody. I can impress you with my smarts. I can amuse you with my stupidity. I'm funny as hell when I want to be. I love to sing. I love to dance. I'm an artist. I'm a writer. I enjoy drinking...especially martinis. I love good food. I love to travel. I wish I could follow the sun year 'round. I love hanging out with my friends. I am a workout fanatic. I'm borderline obsessive compulsive. I love music. Spiders freak my shit out. I never get hangovers...it's my superpower. I'm good at darts. I have moments of brilliance while playing pool, but I mostly suck. I'm all that and a side salad. Trust me, you WANT to know me. ;-)

My Interests

Manhattan ~ Martinis ~ Tropical beaches ~ Thunderstorms ~ Horseback riding ~ Custard ~ Warm summer nights ~ Shopping ~ Las Vegas ~ The freakshow that is Hollywood Boulevard ~ Ski lodges ~ Cuddling by a fireplace in winter ~ Island life ~ Art (painting, drawing, pottery, sculpture, photography) ~ Camping with friends ~ Beach bonfires ~ Creative people ~ Smart men ~ Collecting bed linens and martini glasses ~ Traveling the world ~ Singing ~ Live theatre ~ Live music ~ Candlelight ~ Dancing ~ Food ~ Reading ~ Whiskey ~ Leather ~ Happy Hour ~ Road trips ~ Clean lines ~ Cute, furry animals ~ Ikea ~ Non-fat, no foam lattes ~ Step aerobics, running and weightlifting ~ Jewelry making ~ Roller coasters ~ World history ~ Muscles ~ Passion ~ Dancing under the stars

"Kindness to all living things is the one true religion" ~ Buddha

I'd like to meet:

Conan O'Brien and Buster Keaton. Please, oh please... Well, Buster's dead...so running into him at this point could be a bit unpleasant. Running into Daniel Craig, however, would be QUITE pleasant indeed. For the record, if I were to wake up with Ewan McGregor I damn sure wouldn't kick him out of bed. Rock his world, make him breakfast...sure. Kick him out of bed, NEVER. Same goes for Jack White. Here's a grand idea: how about BOTH of you come on over and we make a little kitten sandwich?!

Music:

Currently obsessed with FEIST! The Beatles ~ Dresden Dolls ~ Faithless ~ White Stripes ~ Keane ~ Bjork ~ Black Eyed Peas ~ The Young Immortals ~ Imogen Heap ~ Jason Mraz ~ Anna Nalick ~ Natasha Beddingfield ~ Kay Starr ~ Dressy Bessy ~ Weezer ~ She Wants Revenge ~ Sugar Cubes ~ Muse ~ Jonny Lang ~ Faith Hill ~ Janis Joplin ~ Frank Sinatra ~ Jo Dee Messina ~ Flogging Molly ~ Jamie Cullum...just a few of my perennial favorites (I've seen 12 from this list LIVE so far!). I have a soft spot for music from the first half of the 20th century. The only music I have a problem with is really screamy metal ~ what's the freaking point?

Movies:

Pulp Fiction ~ all of the James Bond films (especially Casino Royale...Daniel Craig, yum!) ~ Clockwork Orange ~ Kill Bill 1 & 2 ~ Harold and Maude ~ The Rocky Horror Picture Show ~ Good Fellas ~ Boondock Saints ~ Casino ~ Hard Days Night ~ All Things Are Illuminated ~ Breakfast on Pluto ~ Ferris Bueller's Day Off ~ Notes on a Scandal ~ Sliding Doors ~ Caddyshack...for starters. I'm also a big fan of silent films...especially those by/with Buster Keaton.

Television:

Sex and the City ~ The Amazing Race ~ Most Haunted ~ The Office ~ My Name is Earl ~ Coupling ~ What Not to Wear ~ Miami Ink ~ Family Guy ~ Survivor ~ The Deadliest Catch ~ hell - reality TV in general - and good documentaries. Anthony Bourdain and Rick Steve's travel shows give me wanderlust in a BAD way!

Books:

I love historical novels - especially if there's a good bit of fiction mixed in - and biographies of people I admire. Anything with a vampire in it is OK by me. I loves me some vampires! Authors: Stephen King, Anne Rice, Charles Bukowski, John Kennedy Toole, William Golding, James Clavell, Janet Evanovich, M.M. Kaye, J.K. Rowling, Stephenie Meyer...I could go on and on. I love to read!

On a happier note...

We booked our tickets to Europe today!  I'm so excited.   The rough plan so far is that we fly into Amsterdam on August 10th and spend a few days there before taking the train to Paris. ...
