Miss Chi Chi: I want to start off with this first question. Do you check out the fans websites for Flava of Love?
Bootz: I check out a couple of the blogs.
Miss Chi Chi: According to your manager, you're in LA. What projects do you have lined up?
Bootz: I'm under contract and I can't talk about that. I do have a calendar coming out.
Miss Chi Chi: On "Flava of Love" you mentioned how you didn't sleep with Flava but on the wrap-up show you said you broke the celibacy you had for nine years. Do you feel that you feel that you contradicted yourself?
Bootz: No because the show was taped. So me being celibate on the show and I went and decided not to be celeate with someone I know for years. Like Flava he's just ready to have sex with everyone. I just met him for a week and the way he was coming off wasn't cool with me.
Miss Chi Chi: Okay I totally understand. I respect your decision. That was a very good decision.
Bootz: Thank you.
Miss Chi Chi: How do you feel about New York's recent breasts?
Bootz: (laughs)
Miss Chi Chi (laughs): She [New York] came out to the VH1 Big in 06 awards showing off a whole new body.
Bootz: I think she's riduclous. I think she shouldn't have gotten her breasts bigger. She's already a stick to begin with. So for her getting breast reduction-I mean getting them bigger is just a mistake. I feel like that she's going to fall over any minute. She just looks so crazy.
Miss Chi Chi: Going back to her [New York] once again tell us [at Platform Launch Action] how you feel about her during your horseback riding date from the show.
Bootz: On the horseback ride I felt that New York was fake because she didn't even like Flav. So the last episode she stated the same thing I said she didn't want to have sex with Flav. So that'a contradiction [mocks New York] I don't want to have sex with Flav. To me she was just copying me. Yeah I may have not won because of that but she knew Flav really like the fact that I remain celibate and he liked the type of person I was. I think she really tried to do something that I was.Miss Chi Chi: The aim of this interview is clear up any misconceptions I feel the public may have of you as well as the other ladies on the show. So with that said are there any rumors or misconceptions you may want to clear up about yourself?
Bootz: Yeah there's some misconceptions about me like I feel like when it's time to speak right. I felt like if someone wants to go off [on me then] of course I'm going to go off. The show [was all about] being in the house with those girls [so] it's not going to be cool all the time. It's televison. If you're going to be a punk or not. Girls are going to test girls. I feel like with the show, I'm not to let anyone disrespect me.
Miss Chi Chi: Going back are you in contact with any of the ladies from the show? Do you hang out with any one of them?
Bootz: No I do not hang with them. I feel like it's business. If you mix business with friendship most of the time it doesn't work. So I [felt that way during] the whole taping [which] was like three weeks. People were calling each other friends after the second day. With me, I value a friendship very highly. Some girls just jump into [friendship]. Most of the girls are like that. But with me it's all about business. I'm here to build my career just as they are.
Miss Chi Chi: Right. That's cool. When was the last time you use your celebrity platform to launch some serious action? It could be touching upon someone's life or giving a shout out to a fan on myspace. It could be anything.
Bootz: Well actually every month I put a fan in my top [myspace friends list] because I know they really appreciate that [especially with my fans] knowing that. I put them randomly. So each month I put them [a fan] in my very top friends. I think they really appreciate that. I get a lot of good feedback about that.
Miss Chi Chi: Fans look forward to it. I check out your myspace page and I'm impressed by [all that you're doing for your fans.]
Bootz: Thank You.
Miss Chi Chi: 7.5 million viewers tune in to watch "Flavor of Love 2" every Sunday night for two months. Are you able to go out and do your day to day rountines recognized/unrecognized?
Bootz: They're like my fans. I never been on a number one show like this. It's showing me that they really appreciate [me being on the show.]
Miss Chi Chi: They really do. I have tons of my readers who really look up to you as well as the other ladies on the show in particular. Getting back to the show, would you agree to do your own TV show based off the success of "Flavor of Love 2" Or would you pass on the opporunity?
Bootz: Yes I would love to do my own show.
Miss Chi Chi: New York has her own show going on. ["I love New York" premieres Monday night on VH1.] I was thinking hey that would be nice if the ladies get the same opporunity like New York has had. Although how she went about was crazy. Any advice you have for females wanting to break into the entertainment business?
Bootz: I have a couple for girls. They need to be careful for who they pick to manage their career because that can break or hurt you. Promote yourself a lot as far as management. Just make sure people around you care. Things like pictures. You have to be careful about that. Once you burst into the business everybody changes.
Miss Chi Chi: Internet gossip sites peg you gor what you wore to the BET Hip Hop Awards. Is that a dress a creation of your own? Or is it something you want to pursue in the future?
Bootz: I want to start out as a spokesperson for certain things then branch out. What I wore to the BET Awards is something I pick up at the Guess store.
Miss Chi Chi: I like when celebrities mix up low end stuff with high end stuff so I can relate to them. How has fame of being on "Flavor of Love 2" changed your life?
Bootz: You get easily mobbed. You know you get seened. I'm not used to that. Once the show aired everywhere I go [I realized] I can't go to the grocery store, the mall, never.Miss Chi Chi: Here are some common words tagged to Flavor of Love: "attitude", "materialistic", and "aggressive." Describe yourself to defy that degrading tags.
Bootz: I think I am very aggressive. I don't like when people try to run over me. I'm very aggressive but at the same time I'm very loving.
Miss Chi Chi: Let's get to know Larissa and Bootz. Walk us through a day in the life of Larissa and Bootz.
Bootz: Actually my name is Larissa Aurora that's what my calendar is going to be called. I'm quiet. I watch movies a lot. I'm an outdoor person. When I go to the malls, I love to met my fans. I think it's fun. It's great to met people like my fans. Now about Bootz. She's very rowdy because people see me on show not being nice. Even though I'm nice they see me as that. When I go to clubs, I act similar to [Bootz]. I try to be what they see on TV.
Miss Chi Chi: Spot a Difference between your true self and Bootz? You feel as though Bootz is your alter ego?
Bootz: I do think Bootz is my alter ego. She's out there. As Larissa Aurora, I'm really shy and quiet.
Miss Chi Chi: I can related to that with my alter ego Miss Chi Chi. She's more out there and I'm really shy face to face. Chi Chi is like my alter ego. I really related to your alter ego because I see traces of myself in you.
Bootz: Aww.
Miss Chi Chi: What's the craziest fan moment? Craziest thing since the show that stuck out in your mind. That made you go WOW!
Bootz: Actually I went to this mall in California and this guy drive by and it's really dark at night. He knows that it's me. I' m wondering how does he knows it's me? I had on a jacket and my back is to him. He walks out of the car and I didn't see him walk of the car. He knew it was me automatically. He follows me to the gas station and took like a picture. This is around the first episode. So right then, I was still getting use to it. So I thought with all the other girls [on the show I thought] this would happen towards the top 5 [finalists] on the show. It wasn't until the second or third episode and people started noticing me. It was crazy. I didn't make a big impression when I first was on the show.
Miss Chi Chi: No you just went in and you took your time to shine. I actually thought it'll be between you and Deelishis.
Bootz: Aww thank you.
Miss Chi Chi: Well that's all the question I have for you. Any last thoughts you want to leave the readers with?
Bootz: Yeah I would like to say that [to] the fans that I [do] print blogs on my myspace page. I print myspace ID on my page. I don't like when people write to my fans as me because it could be disappointing what they say. So I let my fans know how I appreciate [their love and support]. That's a big thing to me.
Miss Chi Chi: Well thank you for doing this interview for my blog.
