i pretty much prefer to stick to horror movies from the 60s and earlier. the graphic violence on screen these days just makes me depressed... give me a haunted castle and the thrill of a sudden stab of violin strings over evisceration any day.
do you live in the DC area, and have cox cable service? then turn to channels 10 & 12 occasionally at nite, and see what you get.... if you don't catch the horror shows, keep trying!
mystery/horror novels, circa 1960s or earlier. anything later than that is far too vulgar for me. i also collect regional ghost story books... new england has some marvelous ones!
