I was told "Your The Next Biggest Thing Outta Minnesota"Born October 29, 1990 In Compton California name Randy Perez. Moved Back and Forth from California to Minnesota at a Young Age With his mother, aunt and 2 cousins Tony and John. Since a young age randy Was always a art kid with high skills of drawing he was brought up around art and seeing all kinds of art. Randy was a talented person in drawing people and different things. In school art was the main class he was sure to pass. After a Few years growing up Art his been a important part of Randy's life.
In Middle School Randy Was known as the Drawing kid, But it all changed when 8th grade hit. A chance to go a a recording studio with his cousin and 4 other friends came along and thats where the music started for Randy. Highschool of Recording Arts (HSRA) is where the studio was at. We were shown everything recording to mastering. About 3 or 4 songs were made we only had 2 months to be there.
After the 2 months the rest of the crew more likely gave up on the music so did his cousin but for randy it kept going. At this time randy was nicked name Kartoon cus of his drawing skills. Well at the time radny was looking into garage band trying to make beats, and record his own music. (th grade came which was by then his first year in highschool as a freshmen he was still doing music and had his mind on it. All this friends and cousins knew he was ethier doing music or tagging some wall. He Was in and out of the Fottball team which is his favorite sport but he stick to music.
It was 10th grade and he music production was growing on myspace networking, during that summer Randy which was now known as kartoon started his on music label and graphix company (art didnt stop) his graphix were getting better and better and so was his music, he was producing music for friends and family one which was his cousin Ant Dogg. Featured him on a few tracks and did some of his songs. HE felt like this was his spot in the music industry.
The past year of 2007 Kartoon brought him self up alot in to the music industry had music playing on his music page which is up but not running any more (www.myspace.com/ktnkartoon) Kartoon still records music and may drop a mixtape every now and then but hes trying to be known more as a producer then a Rapper he himself knows he not so lyrical and thats a reason why but love to record his music everything now and then Mixtape still will be dropped.
After all Kartoon has recorded music, dropped a mixtape and started his own label but before all this all Kartoon was really doing was producing beats. He stopped and started working on a mixtape and grew a big fan base but it all came down to going back to making beats which he loves doing more. Fans ask your just producing now? and the answer to that is Yes but I will still be recording songs sometimes and hosting mixtapes and dropping one every once in a while. More time is put into the beat prodcution "this is a kartoon production".
