"Baby C", a duly registered d/b/a was born and reared in Dallas, Texas. While growing in these OAKCLIFF streets with the help and encouragement of his mother, has been performing, writing, and producing music since the age of six. He is now twenty years old and has sold his tracks not only in Texas, but in Kansas, Florida, and Louisiana.
BABY C has mastered the art of production and engineering. With skill and finesse, he uses the most current recording hardware and software. Not only has he written and produced his own album, he successfully promoted it "on the streets" hisfreshman year in high school. Previously, Baby C has been sought out by adullt artists and by the parents of young artists, to oversee, the production and engineering of their recording sessions.
Baby C has multiple role models. Those being Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Mannie Fresh, Will Smith, Da Underdogs and entrepreneurs like, Jermaine Dupri, Master P, Berry Gordy, Greg Street, Skip Cheatham and last but NOT least Russell Simmons. All of which have inspired him.
His 2005 single, "Twerk Somethin" (Gimme What U Got), which he wrote and produced, is presently being played on KKDA K104FM and KBFB 97.9FM in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Tx. The 5th rated market in the country. His tracks are also receiving spins in markets such as, HOT97 New York, Hot 97.3 Lubbock, ALL MAJOR MARKETS, Wisconsin, 105.7FM in Birmingham, AL, 103.5FM in Oklahoma City, OK, Latin Stations and several stations in Florida.
Baby C has been producing music for up to ten years. He has his own street movement, which includes, his entity called, Off Tha Tip Enterprises. This contains his own label, production company, and publishing company.
Baby C became the champion on Dallas's own KBFB 97.9 The-Beat's Freestyle Battle portion of Da Sho, that was held from 6-10 PM. He holds one of the longest winning streaks to date (2 Consecutive months). Three well-known singles from Baby C are "Twerk Somethin", "J Walkin", and "What's Good". All of the following have been featured on numerous street/radio DJs and artist mixtapes from across the South.
Baby C has opened for multiple acts. Some of which are, Soulja Boi, B5 (Shout-Out to my homies B5), Pimp C (RIP), Trey Songz, 50 Cent, Master P, Monica, Mario, Silkk Tha Shocker, 5th Ward, Weebie, Choppa, Scarface, and Erick Sermon. He was also a special radio guest at the Scream 4 Tour in 2005 in Dallas, Tx.
