Archimage was formed during winter 2003-2004 original members being Evil, O. Sirius and Hypna. Unfortunately all material recorded those days has been destroyed. Hypna quited playing in Archimage -04, so Evil and O. Sirius continued on as a duo for a while and consentrated in playing covers from bands like Slayer and Darkthrone. There exists three demos from those days, covers from Emperors "I am the Black Wizards" and Darkthrones "Cromlech" and first own song "The Black Metal". Spring 2006 after recording the "Cromlech" cover Archimage seemed to become Evil's solo project since the band hadn't trained together for a long time. Evil continued making songs and autumn 2006 DAN joined the band. They started rehearsing a lot together and soon also O. Sirius re-united with the band. Then there were plans about adding a bassist to Archimage and lots of plans of recording the first studio demo. But every time it all got delayed. Then Autumn 2007 was supposed to be the time to finally release the debut EP. Since once again nothing was actually happening Evil decided to change Archimage into his solo project once again. The debut EP was recorded autumn 2007 and is still available via NSOL. After that Evil and O. Sirius decided to work together again to get proper drums to the Archimages second "official" recording. The new promo/demo "The Dark Glory of Quietus" is now recorded and soon available for listening via myspace..
