This clip perfectly illustrates why I love and play music. No fights. No fists. No posturing or bad attitudes. Just a sincere relation to music and a sharing of positive energy. If the atmosphere here does nothing for you, you are not into music for the right reasons. No matter what the style of music, every show should be like this - at least in mentality. Only a real jerk would disagree...

Originally, I thought I'd list 5 to 10 or so of my favorite bands/artists here, but once I started, I couldn't stop. As corny as I feel doing it, it's fun to share. Here is a brief and painfully incomplete list in the great, grand scheme of music I enjoy- not including all the movie/broadway soundtracks, and classical music I love. In alphabetical order if you please- and that's, of course, with last names first, and articles (a, an, the) filed after the name. Proper.

With Honor, a good bunch more, and your band here.
Movies:
Most anything related to Neil Simon, David Mamet, and Woody Allen. For example: The Odd Couple, Lost In Yonkers, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Barefoot In The Park, Glengarry Glen Ross, State And Main, Manhattan, Play It Again Sam, Annie Hall, Mighty Aphrodite, and so forth and so on...
In addition to the above I also like the following a good deal. In no particular order- not even alphabetical: Chinatown, It's A Wonderful Life, The Apartment, My Fair Lady, Jaws, Little Shop Of Horrors, Fame, The Birds- all Hitchcock really, Clash Of The Titans, Harvey, Stalag 17, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Duck Soup, A Chorus Line, Sneakers, Arthur, 10, The King Of Comedy, Planet Of The Apes, The Last Starfighter, Casablanca, King Kong, The Wizard Of Oz, Short Cuts, Time Bandits, Somewhere In Time, Let It Ride, A Mighty Wind, Blade Runner, And Justice For All, Defending Your Life, The Naural, Robocop, The Sting, Network, Highlander, The Day The Earth Stood Still, The World According To Garp, Ed Wood, When Harry Met Sally, Alien(s), 12 Angry Men, The Abyss, And God Spoke, The Fly, Superman 1,2, and even 3, Dr. Strangelove, Birdman Of Alcatrazz, Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster, Mosquito Coast, Noises Off, Oh God!, Muppet Movies, Star Trek Movies, Disney Movies, Monty Python Movies, Ray Harryhausen Movies, Universal Monster Movies, older horror films that focus on telling dark, unique stories rather than senseless brutality and gore, too many more to mention, even more I know I love but haven't seen yet, and nothing to date by Kevin Smith.
Just for potential arguements, here are my top 5 most hated movies of all time:
5) My Girl 2
4) Marllrats
3) Mars Attacks
2) Meet Joe Black
...And vying for the coveted number 1 most hated film all time:
Reservior Dogs and Fight Club.
Let's just agree to disgree, shall we?
Television:
Nuclear Assault will tell you television is the idiot tube, and I would have to agree for the most part outside of the educational channels i.e. Discovery, A&E, History, Turner Classics, etc. I don't watch too much current television, but I like these shows of yore: The Twilight Zone, Cosmos, Star Trek, Happy Days, Amazing Stories, The Greatest American Hero, Curb Your Enthusiasm, M.A.S.H., All In The Family, The Jeffersons, A&E Biography, Inside The Actor's Studio, Buck Rogers, The Incredible Hulk, Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, Fairy Tale Theater, Bewitched, I Dream Of Jeannie, Quantum Leap, Land Of The Lost, Dragnet, V, The Outer Limits, Moonlighting, The Honeymooners, Chips, Automan, The Flash, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Newhart, Dungeons And Dragons, Loony Toones, and the stuff they showed on Nick At Nite about 10 years ago. I'm sure there are a slew of others that aren't coming to mind. Oddly, I do remember enjoying My Favorite Martian and Designing Women quite a bit.
Books:
Everything I have read or will read by: David Mamet, Douglas Adams, Stephen Javan, Maya Angelou, Eugene O'Neil, Frank Herbert, Arthur Miller, Ray Bradbury, Stan Lee, Carl Sagan, Issac Asimov, C.S. Lewis, William Shakespeare, Tom Stoppard, Eugene Ionesco, Neil Simon, Edgar Allen Poe, H.G. Wells, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, and a lot of other dead or soon to be dead people. Granted, I don't read as much as I should. Feel free to make recommendations.
Heroes:
Jim Henson, Carl Sagan, C.S. Lewis, James Hetfield, and Steve Kleisath.
