Max Calo’ may be the “New Kid” on the block,or should he be called the “First Kid” on the block to bring Spanish Pop music to a level that it so fresh he is being hailed as the “Pioneer”. By recently aligning himself with Crossworlds Entertainment International,Inc. (CEI) Artist Managers Jay & Lisa Jaworski from Los Angeles, the gears began to turn to elevate him to the next level. CEI believes artists like Max are very rare and once the world music community recognizes his Latin/Spanish “Superstar” appeal, "The Skies the Limit." Being exactly what the Spanish/Latin music community wants in today’s market, Max is going tomake a substantial impact on the future.
After his meeting in the US with Tony Renis, Italian singer, song/writer and producer (fundamental personality often present in his career), Max is introduced to very well known artists which he will later collaborate with, such as: Julio Iglesias e Lionel Richie .
A world-class development team has been assembled to propel Max forward. The all star team has united top managers, producers, artistic directors, fashion stylists, photographers, top public relations firms as well as leading entertainment attorneys.
It was not long before Max’s musical artistry caught the attention of Grammy Award winning producer Humberto Gatica. Mr. Gatica’s successes include Grammy Award Winner Olga Tanon, Alejandro Sanz, Celine Dion, David Foster, Luis Miguel, La Rey and Julio Iglesias.
Recently, Mr. Gatica received Latin Music Awards for his work and is considered one of the industry’s leading producers. Focusing his magic,Mr. Gatica is developing this electrifying new Spanish Pop sensation for launch to the top of the charts.
Recently he traveled to the US to seek the top producers, managers and players in the Spanish Pop music industry and hit his mark. Industry reviews of Max's project is being quoted as simply"Remarkable".
It was only a matter of time before top popular international recording artists recognized Max for his songwriting, arranging, producing and composing talent. Max has composed gold hit material for Youssou N Dour as well as worked with Lionel Richie and Julio Iglesias. Currently, Max is collaborating on a project with Argentina's superstar Claudia Brandt and Alejandro Lerner. He wrote a song for the mexican pop star Alejandra Guzman "Bellisima"
. He also is working with up and coming talent Nicole Patrick and Limore Twena.
In the same time is working with the Italian music marketing. Never loosing his focus, Max maintained his efforts into forging his new style by blending his signature R&B style with the new emerging Spanish/Latin music explosion. BIOGRAFIA

Max Calò nasce a Brindisi. Al conservatorio di Roma si diploma in pianoforte. Partecipa a diversi eventi musicali specializzandosi in performance dal vivo cariche di tutta la sua energia. Nel 1994 si trasferisce a Los Angeles e in un brevissimo arco di tempo collabora con David Foster, uno dei più grandi produttori della scena musicale mondiale. Con la conoscenza di Tony Renis, personaggio fondamentale e spesso presente nella sua carriera, viene introdotto ad artisti con cui poi Max collaborerà: Julio Iglesias e Lionel Richie .
Con Humberto Gatica, invece produce artisti per l’immenso mercato latino. Nel 2001 scrive il singolo di Jessica Moreno e nello stesso periodo esegue un remix del brano” In de Congaline in uscita per la Disney.
Nel frattempo collabora e scrive musiche esclusive per sfilate di moda e gioielli a New York. Nel 2002 studia e approfondisce con curiosità la musica Africana e incontra i suoi grandi rappresentanti.Yousson’ N Dour affascinato dalla sua capacità di reinventare magicamente il linguaggio ritmico e sonoro senegalese , lo vuole con sé nella produzione di “Nothing in vain”, disco d’oro in Francia. Questa esperienza lo porterà a collaborare con Angelique Kidjo per un progetto tributo a Baba Tunde. Nei suoi viaggi italiani, Max trova il tempo di collaborare e scrivere per Simona Bencini, Linda e gli Anno Domini Gospel Choir.
Nel 2007 ritorna la collaborazione con Youssou ‘N Dour e precisamente per l’album “Rokku mi Rokka” e “Alsaama Day” dove le canzoni scritte da Max si inseriscono pienamente nel contesto di tradizione e di sperimentazione che i due album posseggono.Alla fine del 2007, la grande cantante messicana Alejandra Guzman inserisce un brano di Max, “Bellissima” nel suo ultimo album e nel breve giro di qualche giorno arriva nei primi posti in classifica del Sud America.
Nei primi giorni del 2008 viene varato “Birima”un progetto di solidarietà voluto e sostenuto da Youssou' N Dour. Si tratta di microcredito a favore della popolazione africana e vede la partecipazione di artisti come Patti Smith, lo stesso Youssou, Simphiwe Dana, Francesco Renga e Irene Grandi.
