Custom Friends Space GeneratorBorn and raised in Charlotte NC. Started singing around 5 yrs old, started writing about 12. Started singing in school for different events with much success. I learned to play the piano/keyboard, bass guitar, the drums, the clarinet (a little), the violin (a little) and the steel drums (a little) My journey with music hasn't always been pleasant. I write about MY life. At the age of 12, I started singing on the choir in church. I and a friend started singing and writing together. We made a few songs, but at that age, we really didn't know alot of what we were doing besides singing in my parents basement. At 14, I sang at graduations, weddings and different events. I got exposure, won awards and talent shows, received standing ovations. At 16, I started singing in school. At that point in time, my passion for music started to die because my focus was no longer there, I started taking an interest in Auto Mechanics, however, I continued to sing and write. At 18, I and 2 friends sang for the National Wrestling Tournament, which gave us a spot in the Charlotte Observer. I and 3 friends sang for our high school graduation. At 21, a friend from High School contacted me and introduced me to a producer, from there I started on a CD that was never finished. My passion for music was almost dead by then, but I always enjoyed creating my music in my spare time and for my listening pleasure only. I got married at 22, which my husband gave no support to my music and the small fliame I had left for my music was extinguished.I got divorced and I finally let the music go for several years, started working as an auto mechanic. At this point in my life, I feel I have a story to tell and I want to share it. I know that there is someone out there that can relate to my music and can/will appreciate the change. I am a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger - the works. Music (in my opinion) isn't music anymore. However, personally, I am ready for a change. I want to make music that reflects life, love, hurt, pain and good times. I want to make music that everyone enjoys listening to. I'm not interested in spending alot of time and money in the studio. I do my work at home to the best of my ability with the equipment that I have. I want to hear music like we heard back in the day. You could dance to some of it and could cry with it, laugh with it, make love to it and it put you in the mood, not served as a "how to guide". "If I can be as great as Stevie Wonder, Johnny Watson etc. My mission will be accomplished". I hope you enjoy. Please leave a message! God Bless
