X-Caliber International Disco - The Worldwide Sound. The future of sound was founded by Dawg-E-Slaughter.Nothing is ever done by chance only by faith and it was not mere luck that Slaughter chose to go with his uncle to a basement party one night in Brooklyn. His ascension to a DJ was pre-determined. Blessing the mic with his gritty, audacious, spirited vocals, there was no turning back. Going from sound systems Black Syndicate and Sel Construction to creating his own DJ crew- the aptly named X-Caliber Disco- Slaughter fought his way to the top of the business. As a radio presenter for 96.1 FM he introduced Trinidad and Tobago, subsequently the world, to the undeniable mixing power of X-Caliber. But once again the fight found him and Slaughter had to prove he was worthy of the airplay.From the airwaves of 96.1 WEFM to RED 96.7fm, Slaughter (with partners Sachy & Gilligan) proved that they have the ability to entertain on radio. X-Caliber has performed a wide variety of artists worldwide... Beenie Man, Sizzla, Kanye West, Stone Love, Renaissance Disco, Black Chiney, Morgan Heritage, Machel Montano and Bass Odyssey. The collective has made various TV and radio appearances worldwide. They have proven that they are a force to reckoned with and not taken lightly.To date, X-Caliber International Disco has expanded and is represented not only in Trinidad, but now Atlanta, Miami, New York and Toronto. With this expansion, X-Caliber can now be heard all over the world. Slaughter, Sachy, Gilligan, Ky-Mani, Benzo, Glamaa, Stranjah, Kid Kut & Jester complete the X-Caliber Entourage. Playing the best in dancehall, foundation, dub, r&b, soca, hip hop, old school - period. The most versatile sound. The name is not to be forgotten - X-CALIBER INTERNATIONAL.
