I've had a personal MySpace site for some time now, but recently I've been hearing that companies such as mine are clamoring to use Social Networking sites such as MySpace, Ojeez, BizNik, ActiveRain, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others in order to build branding, raise awareness, and increase their client base.
I'll be seeking out MySpace users who have financial services or real estate profiles (at this point, I'm focusing on real estate) to learn how they're using MySpace to promote. I may email some of you to ask how it's working for you. However, at this time I will not be adding friends who are not directly serving the Real Estate Market in some way - either as buyer/seller agents or as investors.
I'm not here to compete with you or steal your hard-won techniques. I'm here to learn from you as far as increasing our visibility online goes, and let's face it - to increase my value to my company.
So, here I am, doing the research. Do you have anything to share with me?
