Band Members:I am a 39 year old male musician born and raised in Lubbock, Tx. - the home of Buddy Holly. I began my interest in playing my own expression of music in the late '80s. My first instrument was a trombone in junior high. I was kicked out of band due to my defiant nature against authority and not wanting to learn how to read sheet music. I did not like being confined by rules and formality. The second instrument that I found myself drawn to was an 8 piece black pearl drum set. Between '83 to '86, I jammed around with a bunch of school mates playing music influenced by RATT, Van Halen, Journey, Cinderella, Slaughter, Ozzy, Autograph, Judas Priest, & Pink Floyd to name a few. Ha! But the group band thing seemed to be more about partying and getting wasted than the music. I have no problem partying but I was there mainly for the music. About that time, I bought a Fender Jazz-based special guitar and was learning some Blues rifts and lics. Also about a year or 2 later, I bought my keyboard - a Roland U-20. At this time, I did not know that purchasing such an instrument would change my life. The keyboard allowed me to express myself in multiple expressions and fired up my imagination into multidimensions of music never before realized. Also at this time, I had dropped the band concept and was now a one man show. This chapter of my life was filled with trama, confusion, turmoil, anger, and darkness to a point of suicidal tendancies. As a musician, I am blessed and cursed with hypersensitivity to my environment and to people. The urge to express my strong emotions and the experiences to life needed an outlet. So I began to build a home-based recording studio to achieve this expression of self. Throughout the'90s, I've perfected the craft of recording and mixing. The type of music that moved me at this time was Pink Floyd & Yanni. Combining the two different genres of music and imagination, I found peace and harmony in my life and enjoyed my own music. And now, I would like to share it with you.I INVITE YOU TO VIEW THIS MINI-MOVIE MUSIC VIDEO. IT MIGHT NOT MAKE MUCH SENSE THE FIRST TIME JUST LIKE WHEN YOU SAW PINK FLOYD'S THE WALL(IFYOU HAVE SEEN IT). THIS VIDEO WAS .AS ARTISTS, WE EXPRESS ONLY WHAT WE FEEL & KNOW OF LIFE. THE VIDEO CONTAINS A LOT OF SYMBOLISMS LIKE PARANOIA, ANGER, SUSPICION, LOSS OF HOPE, & BASICALLY THE WHOLE WORLD IS FALLING APART AROUND YOU & THE FEAR OF LOSING YOUR SANITY.ALL OF THESE EMOTIONS YOU CAN ALL RELATE TO AT ONE TIME IN YOUR LIVES. WE ALL EXPRESS OURSELVES DIFFERENTLY. AS A MUSICIAN & ARTIST, MY MEDIUM TO EXPRESS MYSELF IS THROUGH MUSIC & VIDEOS. I PUT A LOT OF WORK & TIME IN THIS VIDEO. I HAD TO RELIVE OLD, STRONG NEGATIVE EMOTIONS. SO SOME OF YOU MAY UNDERSTAND WHERE I AM COMING FROM & SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE A BIG QUESTION MARK OVER YOUR HEADS & OTHERS MAY THINK I HAVE COMPLETELY LOST MY MIND. EITHER WAY IT'S OKAY. The future is very exciting for me especially now with new technology in the music industry which will allow me to express myself with no boundaries. I am currently working on new music which expanse from techno, trance, dance, dark goth, industrial, and experimental music. I believe deeply in staying original and not falling into the great cookie cutter machine which I believe is a big time sell out. So that is why I am here at MySpace to create a new fan base so I am bi-passing the whole music industry red tape. I want a one-on-one personal relationship with real people and feed back on my music to help me grow as an artist. I would be very grateful for your sincere opinions and feed back on my music and to create a musician-fan based relationship that can benefit both parties. So thank you for the ad on your space.
