Rescue Save Boxers
Details Below ↓
At the rescue we make sure that every Boxer is up to date on all shots, is spayed/neutered, have a vet check and are all micro-chipped before being adopted out.
This can become costly and since we’re a non-profit organization run by volunteers only, getting the funds to help these precious Boxers in need can be difficult. We'd like to reach out to our community and ask for help in our efforts to save Boxers :)
If you would please click on the pay pal button below and donate whatever you can even if its just $2.00 every little bit helps us to help a Boxer in need. Please keep in mind that paypal charges us $1.75 per transaction so if you give $2 please give $3.75 Thanks!
Thank You for your support!!!
Boxer Hugs, MN Boxer Rescue
Minnesota Boxer Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization devoted to rescuing and rehoming Boxers in Minnesota. MNBR is comprised solely of volunteers who donate their hearts, homes, time and energy to help our boxers in need. We do not have a shelter and all of our rescued boxers are housed in warm, loving foster homes.
All of our dogs visit a veternarian for a checkup, are up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, spayed/neutered and microchiped. While in foster care, the foster homes work with the dog to learn its personality and help it to adjust to a new, caring environment.
Our Mission:
The main goal of our organization is an all volunteer effort to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted and abandoned Boxer dogs within Minnesota.
When Boxers are in need, Minnesota Boxer Rescue dedicated volunteers respond. Our mission includes hands-on rescue, as well as education.
Many of our beautiful Boxers have had a very "ruff" start, for various reasons, please be assured that we have dedicated ourselves to helping as many of these dogs as we possibly can.
When a dog comes into our rescue program they are examined by our vet, brought up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested, (placed on heartworm preventive meds) and fecal tested. All dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We evaluate each Boxer's personality and temperament, so he/she can be placed in the best home suited for that dog.
If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an application. You must live in Minnesota in order to adopt. However, if you live in another state, we would be able to assist you with a contact person and telephone number of another rescue in that state.

The volunteer opportunities available are as follows:

- Assist in our rescue effort (i.e. transportation, communication with other shelters, fund raising ideas)

- Doing home visits on potential adopters

- Make a monetary donation to help us care for our rescued Boxers

- Fostering a Boxer until it can be placed into a permanent home

As a volunteer organization, we are always in need of assistance. If you think you may be able to help our Boxer rescue efforts, please fill out and submit a Volunteer Application. We would love to hear from you!

Become a Foster: MN Boxer Rescue can only help Boxers if we have people who are willing to provide temporary foster care until a forever home is found for them. Fostering a dog is one of the most valuable things a volunteer can do to help us in our mission to rescue this wonderful breed.

Dear Nonprofit Animal Charities and Rescue Organizations,
Over the years I've asked Natural Balance® customers to "help me help animals" and here's how we want you to help animals. Spread the word! Work with your favorite retailer or vet on a donation program. Tell everyone in your network to cut out the UPC code from the specified size Natural Balance® bagged food, case of canned food, 2.5 lb or 4 lb roll purchased from their retailer and attach it to the register receipt as a proof-of-purchase (see chart below for explanation of rebates). Request that they donate the UPC and receipt* to your Charity - it's just like donating money. When your Charity has collected 50 UPC codes, send them to us and you will receive a check made out to your Nonprofit Animal Charity. That's our way of showing how much we care. Most importantly, we're all helping homeless, abused and neglected animals everywhere!
Sincerely,Dick Van Patten Natural Balance Pet Foods, Inc
