(Producer) Keith White, Abraham, was born September 11th, 1983 in Chicago, IL. Keith was born as the oldest child to Donnell White, his father, and Rose Marie White, his mother. He has two younger sisters named Kelly and Kimberly, and one younger brother named Kevin who is currently attending Stanford University in Stanford, California, United States. In 1988, White's parents divorced and his father married April Brown. Keith grew up with the dream of playing in the NBA. His whole life was dedicated to basketball. White attended Oak Park River Forest High School and graduated with an 3.0 GPA. Abraham attended Chicago State University for a year and says he enjoyed it very much. He completed his freshman year with a 3.5 GPA and made the Freshman's Dean's List. His mother's unexpected sale of the apartment building she owned, and in which he resided in, left Abraham with no place to stay that was close to campus and he couldn't afford living on campus, so he was forced to resign from school and moved to Streamwood, IL. After that, White lived in Tennessee for about a year in a half with his aunt and attended Austin Peay State University and resigned because of manic depression and failing grades.In March 2005, White journeyed to Amsterdam, Netherlands and said he experienced freedom and liberty in its most immaculate form first hand. Because of this experience, White became compelled and intrigued to support the legalization of marijuana. He urges all his fellow civilians and comrades to join and support NORML.org and Senator Barack Obama in his presidential campaign. White claims they are a real organization dedicated to the cause to fight and reform our ridiculous marijuana laws and stop the persecution of innocent tax-paying civilians!In the winter of 2006, White purchased and listened to J Dilla's "Donuts". White became heavily influenced by J Dilla's abstract style of production. Beginning January 2007, White started producing beats under the moniker Abraham, and founded Straight A Productions. He chose the name Abraham after reading Genesis in the bible, which led to his conversion to Rastafarianism, and after former president Abraham Lincoln. He played his first beats he produced for his close friends and producers, Zach Day and Greg Williams, The Narcotics, and White says they were instantly impressed and compared his style of production to J Dilla. "I think J Dilla was one of the greatest producers ever, and will always be my number one influence. Unfortunately, he died right before he was about to really blow up. I honestly feel his spirit is with me when I produce and I will carry on his legacy through my similar style of production," says White.White is also a huge follower of the NBA. His favorite players are LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, and Kevin Durant. His favorite rapper is Lupe Fiasco. White would like to produce for Rihanna, Young Buck, Eminem, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Memphis Bleek, Jay-Z, Common, The Game, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, T.I., Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, Beyonce, Nelly Furtado, Natalia, Jewel, Prince, Depeche Mode, Missy Elliot, Chris Brown, Omarion, Kelis, and various artists. Keith says he just wants the respect he deserves, his money, and women back. "My name, Abraham, is biblical, I am a faithful, righteous, and dedicated civilian, who has been persecuted for absolutely no reason whatsoever, but I will continue to fight for the complete liberation of all humanity and the restoration of our women."
