About Me

I am incredibly uncomfortable in my own skin and socially inept. I have a crippling fear of speaking in front of others and fail profusely at the art of "making conversation". I would probably never leave the house, but I find that the meaning of life lies in the meeting of others so I do venture out when I can. Now all my friends kept telling me that my description of myself was totally off, well, maybe not the shy part, but the rest was, so I thought I would add a suggestion that someone sent me: I am also a "wonderful caring person with a great heart and a good booty to spank!" I strongly believe in supporting my friends' artistic/musical endeavors and supporting the scene. I enjoy finding the strange and unusual in mundane situations and finding beauty in the grotesque. I spend most of my time working and sleeping, but when I do have time I try to see as many live shows as I can and I love to dress up in costumes or dress others in costumes and take pictures of bizarre or telling subject matter.Check out the band I'm in..

My Interests

Here are a few things I love and love to do and a few things I hate to do, but can't help myself: Daydreaming; writing music; playing drums; singing; listening and dancing to music; watching pretty much any kind of live performance be it music, artistic or otherwise; watching and crtiquing movies; creating art; going to art shows; the color burgandy; photography; the magic hour; spiral staircases; long hallways; fires; sleeping and laughing and eating and farting and pooping and laughing at my poop and then laughing so hard I fart (but not necessarily in that order). I also love collecting (books, bats, TNBC gear, LOTR action figures and gear, records, comics) and admiring others collections; alphabetizing; anything 80's; trying out and shopping for products (skin and hair); speaking in fake accents; witty repartee; libraries; baking; dark chocolate; sour candy; soy; sharp cheddar cheese; peach cobbler; Dark beer; red wine; corn on the cob; naps; hot chocolate; down comforters; pajama bottoms; winter; patterned tights; familiar scents; rooting for the underdog; Trader Joe's; glow in the dark stuff; making cat and baby dinosaur noises; my cats (Chantilly "Tooty" and Kittle); sniffing kittens ears; sctraching dog's belly's; giving and receiving hugs; concertos in D Minor; inviting illuminations in the dark; flaring my nostrils; singing in the car; dragons, brocade; herbal healing; being suprised; being chased by strangers in masks through haunted mazes; going to museums; Romania; Ireland; Vampires; shaking a leg; admiring medieval architecture and torture devices; the Comic-Con; Sideshow Collectibles; being the passenger; crying in my pillow. And I love me some people watching. I also enjoy singing, "Everybody's working for the weekend" at work on Friday mornings, much to the annoyance of my co-workers.
