All my old friends I've lost touch with. Sheri Propes, where are you?
Everything from medieval to the White Stripes. Most under-appreciated: Rufus Wainwright. Most mainstream: The Beatles. Most off-beat: the Palm Beach Band Boys. Ooooo, shout-out to my man John Prine, another unappreciated genius. Youngest: Smoosh (see http://www.myspace.com/smooshband if you haven't heard them). These girls ROCK.

Loving Queer As Folk! Nightly delight is Jon Stewart at The Daily Show. Still watching every new episode of the Gilmore Girls. Mourning the loss of West Wing, Dead Like Me and Third Watch. Watched every episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Thanks, Colin! Am looking forward to investigating on DVD: Six Feet Under, Deadwood, and The Sopranos, maybe Tales of the City. Thank goodness for Netflix!!!!!!!
So many great books! Just finished the complete set of Harry Potter, all the way from England! Yum! Back to the Complete Works of William Shakespeare, beginning with MacBeth.

Colin Kasl, Anne Zimmerman, and Debra Betts are my heroes. They each face their fear and pain every day, and not only do what needs to be done, but excel at school and work. Battling through poverty, pain, depression and loss is so difficult, but they keep on keeping on. Kudos to each of you. I love you.
