I was born with a passion for the written and spoken word. I am proud to say I am a published writer and have been since I was fourteen. I live in a town called McDonough, just south of Atlanta, where Nick (my partner of eight years) and I own a home together. We are the proud parents of five spoiled cats (Dana, Hamilton, Oliver, Sally Ane and Tabitha) and two crazy dogs (Lucy McGillicuddy and Cosette Simone). I was born in Los Angeles (I'm a Redondo Beach native) but grew up mostly in Berkeley and Sacramento. I lived in Chicago for three years and moved to Georgia four years ago. I harbor a secret dream of living in Brussels one day. The city is magic and the people are poetry. I am inspired by awesome music, intelligent conversations and people who dare to ignore the rules and aren't afraid to be themselves.
