About Me

A singer/songwriter for years, I've switched my energies from original, acoustic music to fun rock cover bands; so I get to sing and perform my favorite tunes in front of full crowds and get paid for it! I also write bios and press releases for artists, and I work at Music Connection magazine during the day.That's what I do. As for who I am, that depends on the day! I'm a bit of a seeker - open to whatever the world has coming for me next. I'm a happy, positive, fun, creative, imaginative person who loves to travel and spend time with my amazing network of friends and family. I lived in London and Scotland for a while and love to go back and visit. I like checking out new parts of LA, going on road trips, Vegas, trying new restaurants and wine, personal development seminars and books, eating (relatively) healthy and staying (somewhat) fit, a good heated debate, winning said heated debate, and generally having a great time. I love musical theater, 80s rock, my friends, my family, and my sister's cat. Music:

I mostly listen to Jack FM these days, but I like some KROQ bands as well. Last new bands I got into were The Hold Steady, The Postal Service, The Sounds, The Darkness, The White Stripes, and various other "The" bands; Jamie Cullum, Keane, Matchbox Twenty, Counting Crows, Jason Mraz, Tori Amos, Live, STP, Queen, David Garza, Poe, Ani, 80s metal, 90s grunge, and musical theater.

Movies:

The Neverending Story, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Toy Story, Trainspotting, The Birdcage, Clerks, Swingers, Pirates of the Caribbean, Almost Famous, Hilary & Jackie, most indie movies.

Television:

OK - I watch TV! Dexter, Entourage, South Park, Lost, and Weeds are some faves. I also liked The West Wing, Studio 60, Friends, Will & Grace, and Herman's Head.

Books:

Harry Potter, Michael Moore, Irvine Welsh, Ben Elton, Shel Silverstein, Dr. Seuss, The Alchemist, The Power of Now, Power of Positive No, Eat. Pray. Love., etc.

Heroes:

We could really use them right now.
