Well Now...
It's certainly been a long time since i've updated this profile thingy-ma-jig. See what I did there? I used a funny word to induce humour into what will more than probably be a boring account of past and recent events.
I, Stephen Allan Gibb, was born in Nova Scotia, Canada on the twenty seventh day of the fifth month in the same year that Princess Astrid of Belgium married Archduke Lorenz of Austria-Este.
Over the years i've lived in a few different places in the general tasman area.
I am a musician by day. By night, I am a musician. I would never want to have this any other way. Music is my life. If you can't deal with that...well...phooey to you then. However, I would see it hard for someone not to deal with that...it's just music. Not like i'm an electrical apprentice or anything. SNAP!!!
I have the best group of friends I could ever wish for. Even though I don't do the best job of keeping in touch. They have been there for me in my darkest times as I will be in theirs as our futures roll on.
I love my family. In short bursts. Like...when your bath gets too cold and you have to give it short bursts of hot in order to heat it up. Like that.
Without sounding like a flaming homosexual, I love my bandmates. I wouldn't be the man I am today without them.
A piece of my past has become my future. I'm so ridiculously happy that I want to explode.
