I just want to say- that as of right now,
this page doesn't reflect who I am,
my experience, or the work I do.
I just started it though,
give me a chance to make it awesome.
I DID do the work on this page, but I have lots more!!
A decade ago, I started by working with many bands in Street Teams. I was always an overacheiver and made my own flyers along with the ones the record labels would send me.
When I worked for Island/Def Jam, I went to up to 5 concerts
a week to promote their bands and to help out
the artist directly when our artists were in town. I would go to any show in Texas, more often then not seeing the same tour in EVERY stop in TX. This was all during High School, where I graduated with Honors I might add. I would come back from a show in Dallas, for example, at 6:30 AM, take a shower and go straight to school.
It was always worth it to me, because I am passionate about what I do.
I quickly moved up the ranks and managed to get an internship offered to me, by Island/Def Jam but I went to Texas State University instead. I am on hiatus from school right now, which gives me much more free time to work on my business.
The year that Linkin Park had the number one selling record in THE WORLD, 2001, I was the Texas Representative for their street team. Coincidence? I think not! =P
At sixteen, I successfully ran a national street team for the band headdown. For you youngsters, that was "PRE-myspace" and shit was a LOT harder then. haha
I also promoted for Immortal, Roadrunner, TVT, Streetwise, and tons of independent bands. There's more but I really can't remember right now...I think I am getting old. haha

for Chris at Captiva Records!
I plan on working with him a lot.
I was his assistant at the label, and that was a sweet job.

Yes, you read that right...free! (although I DO charge for certain services, circumstances and bands.) Everything is on a case by case basis for now, so just hit me up with any questions you have.

I have a wide taste in music though, so don't be afraid to ask! I like punk and metal the best, but love hip hop too!

I also wanted a place seperate from my personal page to display the cool stuff I do for the bands I ALREADY love.

I will flyer shows for you, get you shows, poster the town, set up displays in record stores, look for appropriate sponsorships, help you spiff up your myspace page, design stickers, flyers, show posters, animated banners, web graphics, help you sell merch, get your demo reviewed, get kids signed up on your mailing list at shows, get you more fans on your myspace, help set up your press kit, and much, much more!
