***I'm not Tony Curran just a fan myself.**** Anthony(TOny) Curran was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. He stands 6 feet, 2½ inches (1.89 m) tall and has red hair and blue eyes. He graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.Received the Evening News National Award for his performance "The Soldier's Tale". He has played murderers, vampires, Vikings, leprechauns, and "regular guys. He has appeared in two movie versions of the epic tale Beowulf. He played Hondscioh in Beowulf and Grendel (2005) and Weath the Musician in The 13th Warrior. He is friends with Jason Flemyng, who co-starred with him in the 2003 production "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", they also participate in marathons together to raise money for charity. He is also good friends with Gerard Butler who I hear helped Tony get the role in Beowulf & Grendel. Tony is also a frequent and popular participant in the annual Dressed To Kilt event in New York City, run by the organisation Friends of Scotland in celebration of Tartan Week.
