He has appeared in various TV programmes and films over the last 10 years. Nominated for Best Newcomer in 2001 Soap Awards and Best Actor in 2002 for his role in Family Affairs. In 1998 his TV show 'The Renford Rejects' was nominated for a BAFTA. More recently, Martin can be seen alongside 300's Gerrard Butler in 'Beowulf and Grendel' In 2007 Martin also played alongside Ryan Phillipe in Clint Eastwood's, Oscar Nominated 'Flags of our Fathers'.
