STREETNOISE - Urbanjazz was formed in 2005 by ENZO BRACCO. The members of the group are some of the most recognised and appreciated Italian and European musicians, who share a deep passion for jazz and all its influences since the 60's to the present days. The music of the band goes from Jazz to Funk, from Blues to Rock, with a special atmosphere and a very personal sound.
The band is very active with live performances in Festivals, Halls and Clubs.
The philosophy of these musicians is to exchange their experiences and feelings through their music, exploring and suggesting ideas to each other with their original compositions and also involving listeners at the same time. This is why improvisation is the leading guide of this group, supported by the good knowledge and mutual artistic appreciation.
The band has just finished recording their new album “THE DREAM OF TOMORROW†at "Esagono Recording Studio" in Rubiera (Reggio Emilia - Italy).
The album features: on sax BOB FRANCESCHINI, New York based musician, one of the best saxophonists on the international music scene today. Bob was educated at prestigious schools, such as LONG ISLAND UNIVERSITY ( Brooklyn Campus), High School of MUSIC and ART ( NY). During his career he worked with greats like MIKE STERN, OMAR HAKIM, MARCUS MILLER, GEORGE BENSON, CHAKA KHAN, M. CAMILO etc.
TONY REMY (guitar). A London based musician, Tony is one of the best guitarist of all genres on the scene. Over the years he worked with ANNIE LENNOX, HERBIE HANCOCK, INCOGNITO, STEPS AHEAD, FREDDIE HUBBARD, PEE WEE ELLIS, CRAIG DAVID, MATT BIANCO etc.
IVANO BORGAZZI (piano & keyboards). Ivano studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He spent many years in the States and had a pleasure of working with LEE KONITZ, HAROLD LAND, JIMMY OWENS, TOMMY CAMPBELL, STEVE TURRE, CRAIG HANDY, JIMMY COBB, CAMERON BROWN etc. He founded the Soul-Funk band "FUNKY COMPANY" and played with the singer JOY MALCOM (INCOGNITO) .
STEFANO CAPPA (electric bass). He got a Diploma at the conservatory "ORAZIO VECCHI" in Modena. Stefano played with LUCIO DALLA, FABRIZIO DE ANDRE', REV. LEE BROWN, SCOTT HENDERSON, MIKE STERN and so on. He's currently teaching at the Accademia di Musica Moderna in Modena.
ADRIANO MOLINARI (drums). Adriano started studying and playing drums at the early age with the teacher MAURO GHERARDI. In his life in music Adriano collaborated with ZUCCHERO (SUGAR) FORNACIARI, CLAUDIO BAGLIONI, he played at the ROYAL ALBERT HALL with LUCIANO PAVAROTTI, ERIC CLAPTON, SOLOMON BURKE and others.
ENZO BRACCO (percussions). He started studying clarinet under the guidance of his father, discovering percussions later after an encounter with MAX ROACH in 1980. Enzo was involved in a production of CELSO VALLI in 1989. His collaborations include BOB FRANCESCHINI, STEVE GROSSMAN, TONY REMY etc.
IRENE ROBBINS Vocalist, Born in Detroit and studied at Michigan State University, Worked with: Enrico Rava, Tommy Campbell, Furio di castri, Giulio Capiozzo etc.
