I now live in Naples, FL, somewhere at the bottom of the world! Well not quite that far, but close. I am now the Director of Youth and Music at a wonderful, encouraging, loving, and growing church in Naples. I am learning again (and again... and again) the word patience. My music has evolved not into the Christian music realm but into more interest in world things rather than just pop songs about girls. I do like those, but not just those. I am happily married to a wonderful woman who I have lived apart from since September, but SOON... she will be here for good. We have not yet traveled on our honeymoon, and one of these days we are going to find our way to Napa in search of the finest food and red wine, and Italy for the same, and France for the same... and the cheese. We will be spending that entire time on bicycles so we don’t gain our former body weight in those two things. Well a convertable would be better! I have found many interesting people here in Florida. Somethings seem to work the way they are supposed to, and I believe this is one of those moments. Working at a church never really did seem the direction I would be headed, but I can’t thing of a thing I would rather be doing. I love my job. The music: I have been writing some. There is still a spirit there, and I have a need to write. I will have more music up at some point... once they are finished and recorded. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers, and know that I miss you, my friends, and campers, and crazy college buddies, and old friends, and new friends, like crazy. peace. nb
