People that are different, to put it bluntly. If your goal in life is to lease the latest, cheapest BMW, go club hoppin on the weekends, and still rent an apartment; no can do, no want to do. Economic realities are what they are, I'm into people that do what they want to do, screw what everyone else thinks. My roomate is a perfect example of that and I think its incredibly admirable. Most of my friends aren't worried about the latest fashions and the newest model, unless its golf gear or music equipment (everyone has their own particular geekiness..) I respect free thinkers, artists, engineers, craftsmen, and anyone else that takes pride in what they do because they know that is an example of character. I personally suck at art, but I respect it and obviously appreciate it. I like different because it helps me to see more, understand more, and its usually entertaining. If there are too many similarities, things go stale, everyday, repetitive, and usually leads to casualness or dulling of the senses. There needs to be some commonalities to establish a foundation, but that is when the peculiarities need to take over and keep the relationship fresh and invigorating. That is what I find attractive.
