I am here for Friends

About Me

I am a History and Literature teacher, play lead guitar in a rock band and am married with two stepdaughters. My fantastic wife is an artist. My favorite guitar is the Rickenbacker 360/12. I also play sitar, saz, dulcimer, theremin, and a Vox Mark 12 and a Vox Cheetah guitar. My band is called Tymeless Flyte and is made up of myself and some of my students and another friend:Monty Cullum. We've done two cds, MAGIC CARPET and CRUSTACAEN. We've also been on television three times. I've been a teacher for 30 years. I teach at high school at the Tome School in North East, Maryland (29 years) and at night I teach at James H. Groves Adult High School in Wilmington, De. (11 years), so I keep busy. I began my career at Saint John's Institute at Prospect Hall in Frederick, Maryland way back in 1978. Any Prospect Hall alums out there? I also wish the GIANTS had never gotten rid of Kerry Collins and I wish they would ditch the ho-hum duo: Coughlin and Manning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My wife is an artist and art teacher. Her love is modern art and her work combines several media, includinjg photography to create a whole. She is also a writer of fiction and non-fiction.
