Dave has been clubbing and spinning the tunes for some time, having had main stage appearances at many respected Dance music events and festivals. One of the original UK circuit DJ's he has produced and played his own music around the world, making many friend's in club scene's around Australia , South Africa, Japan, South America and across Europe. His experience of the Dutch club scene influenced him a great deal, firstly playing at small underground parties around Amsterdam and later appearing at many of the renowned Dance Valley festivals, twice to over fifty thousand festival clubber's on the main stage. He also became a regular at the vast Impulz festivals in Ahoy , Rotterdam and their yearly outdoor festival in Bussloo.
His club residencies in the UK have included some very popular and ground breaking nights including The Zap club in Brighton with Eric Powell and his Bush Records tag, at Turnmills in London (where he continues to be a regular guest), at Trade and FF, DTPM , Superfish , Ripsnorter in Bristol and many other popular party events all around the country. Prolific international dates have included main stage sets at the God's Kitchen event's in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Melbourne, Adventjah in Brisbane, Enchanted Forest near Adelaide, The Ice festival and Gass club in Johannesburg, Slovenia's renowned Ambassador Gavioli nightclub in Izola, Code in Tokyo, on the beach in Bombay and season's at both Amnesia and Eden in Ibiza .
His own releases and remixes have appeared on many well known labels including Aura Surround Sounds and his own ' Chug n Bump Records '. Chug n Bump has released some 23 tracks in all, many of which found their way into DJ boxes and on to Dance compilation albums around the world. These have included the million selling 'Annual 2" album released by ' The Ministry Of Sound ' and several of the successful ' Global Underground ' series of compilation albums.
Dave's early ventures into dance music started when he filled the seat of the then unknown ' DJ Paul Oakenfold ' at London club promotions agency, ' Rush Release '. He later went on to start his own company 'Clubnet' based near to the Mute and Virgin Records offices near London's Ladbroke Grove. Initially working with Independent dance labels such as Rhythm King , Warp and ZTT Records 'Clubnet' went on to provide it's promotional services to major labels including Virgin Records , Island Records , EMI , Sony / CBS Records , RCA , East West and Mute . One of Clubnet's earliest promotions, ' S'Express ','Theme from S'Express' entered the UK national charts at No.1, the highest every entry of an independent dance label of the time. Dave went on to work with many of the producers and artists who have contributed to the club sounds that continue to appear in dance music today. Depeche Mode , S'Express, Neneh Cherry , Seal , Bomb The Bass , 808 State , Erasure and many other familiar artists have presented Dave with silver, gold and platinum disks in recognition of his various contributions to thier work.
