Mens Sana in Corpore Sano

About Me

I work fulltime, go to school full time, and I help out my sister with her kids. I listen to metal and watch anime, but could care less for the fans. I practice martial arts and swordsmanship, and I do not spar. I have a subversive idiolect and an overactive imagination that gets me into and out of trouble. I read voraciously. I love foreign films, Tsui Hark, Kurasawa, Tony Jaa, and Ryuhei Kitamura. I like old silent films with Buster Keaton, Douglas Fairbanks Sr. and Laurel and Hardy. I love watching Marx Brothers films, and the modern adaptions, Brain Donors and Animaniacs. I don't watch TV, so I have to download anything interesting. I have an eclectic musical taste that covers almost everything, although I have an aversion to anything popular. I eat out whenever I can. Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Mexican, French, German and even occasionally American. I get bored easily. I get insomnia alot, but I can go for weeks on 4 hours or less. I have a contrary nature, I tend to be what everyone else is not.

My Interests

Reading, Martial Arts, Anime, Philosophy, Origami, Cats, Psychology, Kendo, Fencing, Swordsmanship, New Music, New Foods, Eating out, Women, Wit, Beer, Cheese, Cooking, Old Silent Flicks, Buster Keaton, Douglas Fairbanks, Marx Brothers, anything that will for any period of time aleviate the ever present demon of boredom. ??
