rocketboy55 is based out of Waukesha, WI.
Waukesha, WI, the home of Les Paul, is where rocket boy 55 decided to lay its roots in 2003. The rocket boys continuously strive to challenge themselves and the music they create while inventing a unique sound that they wish to feverously share with anyone who is willing to listen.
Their first EP "As Argyle” was released in the spring of 2006 and features some of their more experimental indie/punk songs that were written in 2005 with band members Rob Thomas Woelfl and Darryl Kuyper. Their newest CD, "Tragedy of Communication" has recently been released and includes many of the songs written back in 2004 and 2005 with band members Shayne Peterson, Justin Pryble, and Lucas Cleary. Also on the full-length are a few songs written and recorded in their entirety by Rob DeAngelis. They are currently recording their third album, "Where Are You Now".
Band members have come and gone over the years, but the determination and passion of Rob DeAngelis (lead guitar/vocals) remains unchanged.
Rocket boy 55 is always looking to add members to its roster. If you would like to audition to be in the band, please send us an email. We are currently looking for a bassist.
