About Me

LIFE CAN TAKE US THROUGH OUR OWN JOURNEY WITH UNEXPECTED TWISTS AND TURNS THAT CAN LEAD US TO OUR OWN GARDEN FULL OF COLORFUL FLOWERS!
I am primarily a fine artist and graphic designer but I started getting into dance in middle school when I was into tap dancing. I was introduced to popping when I was 17 by my first teacher Steve, who taught me for 2 months before his car accident that left him injured. He was one of the best poppers in Portland and back then, nobody else was popping in Portland. So I could retain the knowledge, I incorporated popping and mime into a 5 minute peice called Trapped when I was 17. I toured it by request for various venues and events in Vancouver BC and Portland OR until I was 20. I started popping again in 06/07 after I moved to California. This time 15 minutes long and again incorporating popping and mime, I created my second piece, Dream of A Robotic Love Story, while attending the Experimental Performance Institute, performed at the New College Theatre. If I were to put myself into any such categories, I consider myself an advanced begginer and continue to look for ways to grow and learn. Currently I am building and creating an all styles, All Female Battle to come. Please go to www.myspace.com/allfemalebattle for more info!
